SHOP LOCAL Week Challenge

From morning coffee, daily workout, drugstore needs, hair salon/spa appointments, vehicle maintenance, dinner and after-dinner entertainment, we challenged Binghamton area residents & purchasing agents to SHOP LOCAL during the week of Sunday, February 24th through Saturday, March 2nd. 

We solicited feedback on the take away experiences afterward to help our local businesses to grow which, in turn will grow our community!

Clinton Street Cafe - "I chose to have breakfast with a friend at a diner over a drive-thru breakfast sandwich.  Even though I was running behind due to the detour from the fire on Main Street and from school bus traffic, I was still on time for my early morning appointment.  The food was good as usual and the service was friendly." - Karen S.

Sip of Seattle - "I’m a huge fan of Sip of Seattle a tranquil little coffee shop located at 163 Washington St. in Binghamton nestled by the Court Street entrance of the Metro Center. They have a great menu and their coffee is delicious. The staff greet me with a smile and make me feel at home. I went once and now I’m hooked, I highly recommend them whether it be for your morning coffee or a nice relaxing lunch." - Noah C.

Michelangelo's - "I just wanna say your restaurant is a fabulous place to eat! You were very accommodating to my 3 yr old son (cut up his pizza, told us his plates were hot and brought him chocolate milk!) and you also have an amazing Gluten-Free Menu. I loved the Gluten-Free personal pizza and I have had many, that was good stuff! The service was friendly & I even think the owner came out to greet everyone in the dining room!
